SCSK partners with SINAI Technologies to Accelerate Decarbonization in Japan

(Headquarters: California, Founder, and CEO: Maria Fujihara, SINAI, USA) today announce that they will partner to enhance their respective decarbonization offerings in Japan, which includes SINAI’s specialization in improving scope 3 management and scenario modeling for Japanese organizations, and SCSK’s customers that are most in need of mitigation modeling.

As measures to realize a carbon-free society accelerates worldwide, Japanese companies have also begun full-fledged efforts including the promotion of GX (Green Transformation) and the calculation and abatement of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. However, many of these companies are facing issues such as the need for more detailed data management on a global level (such as the management of emissions using empirical data) and the formulation of concrete reduction plans for decarbonization. More granular data allows for organizations to make cost-effective mitigation decisions that allow them to achieve reduction targets and set themselves apart from competitors with low-carbon products.

The partnership between SINAI and SCSK will enable firms to develop their carbon neutrality and decarbonization journeys by combining SINAI’s highly regarded global SINAI Decarbonization Intelligence Platform with SCSK’s digital capabilities and vast partnership network.

In Japan, SCSK will conduct joint sales and marketing activities with SINAI on a comprehensive basis, including jointly launching sales and marketing activities for the Japanese rollout of SINAI’s Decarbonization Intelligence Platform.* SINAI has developed digital solutions for managing GHG emissions globally, and for sophisticated scenario-based forecasts and simulations.
